Pros and cons of Handy CookBook app for iPhone and iPad

Handy CookBook app good for

Very nice app to store easily own recipes, search for them by ingredients or by name. Great work! Only feature I missed: possibilitiy to sync the recipes with PC or an website. But maybe its a new feature of a future release?! ;-)
I really like this app. It does nearly everything I would expect it to do. An idea for an additional feature: Please add the possibility to add own sub-categories, like soup-hot and soup-cold or cake-chocolate, cake-fruit, ...
I love this App! I use it daily! When I’m looking for what to eat in the evening, I search my Handy CookBook-App! But there is one Feature I really miss – and I really hope that you could give us an Update. I’d like to export all my Recipes in one File - and my boyfriend wants to import that file in his HandyCookBook-App. We want to sync our Apps. I know – I can share the recipes via E-Mail, but I don’t want to send hundrets of recipes via E-Mail to my boyfriend. So an easy “Import/Export”-Feature between the iPhones/Apps would make me really happy!
I think this app is the greatest.. The support is fantastic. The app for the iPad is great, although the previous versions are very good too. Thank you very much! I might actually learn how to cook one day!
The app is awesome. It is exactly what i was looking for, the ability to have my favourite recipes with me and take down other peoples rwcipes without needing the net. The only issue is that you cant use 1/2 cup, 1 1/4 cup ect. So its a pain to convert all my recipes.
I used it since two months now When my guest asking me for recipie I CAN send it right away. The grocery list is very usefull

Some bad moments

My mistake for not checking the requirements before purchasing, but comon, what could there possibly be about a recipe database that prevents it from working on an iPod Touch???
Dont bother with this one. The five stars must be from the developers friends. I really wanted to like it, but the constant timing out when I am trying to import is horrible. I cant be bothered. Horrible
The website you use to enter the recipies is not working correctly. Typed a recipie in, tried to save and import and it says the website is too busy. Turned off my firewall and it would still not work. waste of money if you cant enter your recipies. Want a refund!
Great app until someone calls you in the middle of entering a recipe!
I spent a lot of time entering recipes, and when I updated my OS they were all lost. Info in other apps was intact. I need to find a better cookbook app. :(
I have been using this app for well over a year until all the recent updates. Im not sure if it is the app or the new 5.0 or a combination of both. But since I updated I can get connect through my browser. Up till now I have had no problems at all. I dont like giving 1 star to something I use on a daily basis but as of right now it is useless to me. I more be more than happy to change this when a fix comes out or either I get a reply to my e-mail I sent a few weeks ago.
